The Marshyangdi River is renowned as one of the most exhilarating grade IV kayaking rivers in the region. Originating from the northern slopes of the Annapurna, it meanders through the scenic valley of Manang before joining the Trishuli River at Mugling. Rafting on the Marshyangdi offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, stunning landscapes, and thrilling technical rapids. Unlike larger volume rivers like the Sunkoshi and Karnali, the Marshyangdi presents a unique challenge that demands unwavering commitment from both the crew and guide. Negotiating its pinball-like rapids requires quick reactions and precise maneuvering. Situated on the eastern side of the Annapurna Circuit, the Marsyangdi River treats adventurers to ever-changing mountain vistas as they navigate its steep gorge walls with every twist and turn.
